Just closed on my first home. Let me just explain a little about Chip... One of the best guys i could imagine dealing with, I always heard horror stories about real estate agents and home buying but to me they are a myth. Chip not only made it real easy and spelled it all out clearly, but he was honest from the get go. He always stayed in touch with me and in the loop, yet when I found a few homes to look at, he showed them to me and would discuss all the pros and cons, and then listen to what I was looking for and offer something better. Plus he never pressured me to get out of my price range or try to sell me something I would regret buying. Chip is a man who not only cares about his clients to put them in a good home but he follows through till the end. I had an issue with my loan and he went to bat for me and fixed it! When he told me about the problem over the phone he said, and I quote, "I won't let them do this to one of my clients!!". I contacted several realtor's for help being new to this area, None could or would discuss anything over the phone.I called Chip and after discussing my wants/ needs likes he e-mailed several listings that were close to my wants. I have moved several times in my adult life, and have experience with realtors that show you all kinds of gorgeous homes, that are exactly what you dream about, but that are way out of your price range. Then when you see the houses you can afford, you sort of feel like you've had to "settle". Chip knows his properties as well as those listed by other agents, and he can find the things you want in the price range you can afford. He doesn't just push his listings. This is not just a job for him - he takes great pride and pleasure in placing families in homes where they can put down roots and begin building a lifetime of happy memories.

I have always appreciated honesty and I most definitely found that with Chip. Although he did not push his opinions on us, when we asked for an honest opinion we got it. He pointed out things we would never have noticed, and because he is experienced and knowledgeable, his insights benefitted us as buyers.

As sellers, we felt like we got the best price possible for our property as well as the best exposure. Our home was listed in all the usual places and we had some great advice on ways to improve potential buyer perception of our property. But, as in everything, Chip goes above and beyond that - our house was also listed on Craig's list and was put on one or more web search engines regularly, so that it was among the top searches each week while it was on the market.

Chip returns calls promptly and has helpful information when he does. He's friendly and personable and flexible. He was even able to help us find a company that would fund our mortgage. I can't imagine going through this very stressful process with anyone else, and when the time comes for us to move again, I know Chip will be still be around and ready to help us in every way.
