Art Splash

  Art Splash on The Harbor is held the first Friday of each month, regardless of the weather.  This event features art created by local artists.   Artists will be on hand demonstrating painting and sculpting.

Be prepared for good conversation, great music, and lots of fun!

  Open Gym for Children with
Special Needs

The RISD Education Center Gym provides a safe place for special needs children to play with one another and participate in a lot of different activities while the parents can meet as a support group. Bring your child and see what fun they have to offer. The program is open to all ages and is held the last Friday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The RISD Education Center Gym is located at

Farmers Market

Due to the tremendous repsponse, the Rockwall Farmers Market has returned.  Visit the market Saturdays from 8:00 - 12:00 on the square in historic downtown Rockwall.
Enjoy locally grown fresh produce and flowers.

Here's an idea; bring the kids out and spend the day on the square! Shop the market, visit the specialty shops and then catch lunch at one of the great eateries.

Life is great here in Rockwall!

  2009 Kiwanis Annual TriRock Triathalon

Sunday, August 23rd 

Sunday, August 23, over 400 athletes will come together for a race that combines a 300-yard swim, a 14-mile bike ride, and a 2.9 mile run. The annual TriRock Triathalon is not only a popular race for participants and the largest fundraising event for the Kiwanis Club.

  Fireworks Show

Sat, July 4th Harry Myers Park at Dusk

Bring your picnic basket and blanket to the biggest community picnic of the year! 

The Fourth of July fireworks show will be held at Harry Myers Park.  The show will be synchronized to music, so bring your FM radio.

Get to the park early to reserve your spot! 

The fireworks show will begin at dusk.

  Doggie Splash Day

Sat, Aug 15th Harry Myers Park Pool 10:00 a.m.

The Rockwall Parks & Recreation Department isopening the pool for the dogs on Saturday, August 15th.  Activities will include a dog paddle race, a retrieving contest and a swim suit contest. 

The fee is $5 per dog. Proof of rabies vaccination will be required for entry. Owners are responsible for their pet's behavior.
